SUMMARY:Salem Fair
DESCRIPTION:A regionally based agricultural fair in the western part of the
  Commonwealth of Virginia. The Salem Fair is the largest fair in the state
  and has been recognized as one of the top 100 fairs and expositions in th
 e country.\n\nThe Salem Fair does not charge the public an admission fee f
 or this event. Entry is FREE - you pay to ride rides\, games\, food and ve
 ndors. Parking is also FREE.\nChildren 17 and under must be accompanied by
  an adult parent\, or guardian over the age of 25\, with valid I.D. at all
  times while on the fairgrounds.\nClear bags only. No diaper bags or backp
 acks allowed unless clear and meeting new guidelines. Clear here for detai
 ls.\nEveryone will be subject to bag checks and electronic wanding upon en
 try.\nNo outside food or beverage.\nGates close at 9 pm. The fairgrounds a
 nd rides close at 10.\nShirts and Shoes are required.\n\nProhibited Items:
    Pets\, backpacks\, drones\, alcohol\, fireworks\, illegal drugs\, illeg
 al weapons\, glass containers.\n\nThe Salem Fair is located in the heart o
 f the Roanoke Valley on the grounds of the Salem Civic Center Complex. It 
 is accessible north and south via Interstate 81 and east and west via U. S
