The Catawba Valley Farmers Market will be open each Thursday, starting May 12, from 3:30 to 7:00 PM during the months of May through September. We are located at the Catawba Community Center off Rt. 311 near The Homeplace Restaurant, in Catawba. The Appalachian Trail is nearby. Check out our great selection of fresh, locally-grown vegetables, herbs, honey, fruits, plants, pork & beef, eggs, jams, pickles, breads, and pastries. Local residents also offer a varied selection of handicrafts including gourd birdhouses, baskets, jewelry, wooden lamps & writing pens, pottery, locally produced cookbooks, barnwood-framed photography, candles, milk-based bath & beauty products, & notecards. Come out to the beautiful Catawba Valley to enjoy local food, arts and crafts, and get to know the local folks who produce these foods and crafts for you! The Catawba Valley Farmers’ Market is known as the friendliest market in the area!
