Open Studios Botetourt

Many of the Roanoke Valley areas leading artists live and create in scenic Botetourt County. The fall event falls on the last weekend of October every year. In 2013, 11 Botetourt artists joined with the Botetourt County Office of Tourism for the third annual self-guided driving tour of artists working studios. Sister City Sculptures in Century Park Plaza

Century Park Plaza is home to a series of sculptured columns decorated and colored in various ways to symbolize the cultures represented by each of Roanokes sister cities. The sculptures were created by Mimi Babe Harris and Donna Essig in 2004 as a tribute to each of our seven sister cities, and are part of the City of Roanoke's public art collection. O. Winston Link Museum

The O. Winston Museum is dedicated to the photographic, audio and video works of photographer Winston Link and his project to document the last days of steam along the Norfolk and Western Railway.
