Blue Ridge Parkway

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 469 mile non-commercialized route in the mountains, recognized as America's longest unspoiled roadway. The primary tourist season is May through October. Camping, hiking, fishing, bicycling, picnicking, overlooks and much more. Plenty of spring and fall color to observe. The speed limit is 45 MPH. Motor coaches are allowed on the Parkway, however, short distances are recommended.
