Salem Kiwanis Baseball Field

The Salem Kiwanis Baseball Field is home to the Salem High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball Teams and the Roanoke College Men's Baseball Team. The Salem Kiwanis Baseball Field is utilized 7 days a week beginning January through November. This facility hosts many events which draw state and national athletes as well as spectators to the City of Salem. The events held at Kiwanis can range from youth, adult, and high school players to collegiate and national level players. Salem Football Stadium

Salem Football Stadium is a 7,157 seat municipal stadium that opened for business in August of 1985 after a rapid construction process. The stadium was actually completed just eight months after its approval was granted and a mere five months after grading on the property began. The city used a bond to pay for the $2.2 million facility that was constructed primarily for the citys successful high school football program that has won six Virginia High School League State Championships since 1996. The Salem Civic Center Complex offers a diverse group of facilities, which are both functional and attractive. An indoor arena with basketball court has hosted numerous NCAA Championships over the years. On the grounds are Salem Football Stadium, which annually hosts the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl - the NCAA Division III National Championship. The complex also features Lewis Gale Field at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium, which seats 6,300 and has hosted NCAA Baseball Championships. This is also home of the Salem Red Sox, a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
