Company Overview ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU The Y is a diverse organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living and foster a sense of social responsibility. The Y’s goal is to strengthen our community though programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body. We do this each day through our Wellness Centers and exercise programs, through activities that enrich our children, and by giving 1.1 million dollars in financial assistance to make sure that everyone can be a part of the Y. Description WE’RE HERE FOR GOOD One in nine people in the Roanoke Valley has turned to the Y for programs and services. You know that we’re here for you because the Y has been a part of the Valley since 1883. In fact, we’re part of one of the largest community service organizations in the U.S. We count on the generosity of our members and partners to keep our doors open to all people who need a place to go to help them be more healthy, confident, connected and secure.
